Themed “Anxiety,” our second issue reflects on one of the most present and pressing themes of our age. Mental health professionals, community activists, and a spiritual practitioner weigh in as we uncover stories of women who are overcoming their anxieties with courage and aplomb. We ask questions like: How does environmentalism turn into ecophobia, and how can it become sustainable again? Does job security cause more or less stress than a sense of independence? What would happen if we were to record each one of our anxieties every day for a week? Intermixed with these essays and interviews are artwork, photography and offer a way out.
