A Women’s Thing is a volunteer-run publication about women in arts and culture: the artists, curators and writers making work now, and the women history tried to overlook. Sponsors help us keep it independent, free to read, and free of ads.

Who reads us

Our readers care about contemporary art, art history and culture. They visit exhibitions and art fairs, follow artists closely, and read to the end.

How we work with sponsors

We partner with organizations whose work genuinely fits our community, such as galleries, museums, art fairs, publishers and cultural foundations. Sponsorship can support an interview series, an event, or the publication as a whole.

Our editorial stays independent. We don’t publish paid articles or sell links, and every piece we run is one we would have wanted to run anyway.
