Ryan Castle & Candela Cubria

Ryan Castle is a New Jersey based gallery manager and writer whose work focuses on contemporary art. With hands-on experience supporting artists and shaping exhibitions, she brings an insider perspective to her criticism. Her writing is driven by a love of the art world’s emotional, historical, and material complexity. Candela Cubria is an art worker born and based in Brooklyn, passionate about art labor and the role of art in fostering social change. She has worked with Social Practice CUNY, co-hosted the podcast Art in Permacrisis at the Institute of Network Cultures in Amsterdam, and currently does community outreach and programming at BAXTER ST at the Camera Club of New York.
